How to go from the recommended
hotels to piazza Plebiscito



At the bottom of this page there is a map of the zone around the site of the Conference (the place is indicated by a bright yellow 'CG'). Piazza Plebiscito is near the blue disk number 16 (on the right of 'CG'). The hotels, except Ruggiero, Pinto Storey and Margherita are indicated on the map by numbered red disks (do not confuse with the blue ones) according to the following list (using this map should be easy to find the way to 'piazza Plebiscito').

The hotels Ruggiero and Pinto Storey are a little farther (about 20 minutes walking). They are not on the map (they should be out of the left side, more or less on the orizontal line of piazza Plebiscito). >From their entrance, you can see (a few meter ahead) piazza Amedeo. Get in the square ('Amedeo') and continue walking (a little on the right): you immediately get to via dei Mille. Go straight ahead till the end of this street: its prolongation (a little on the right) is via Filangieri. Go straight ahead till the end of via Filangieri, then turn left (in via Chiaia), and go along this street. Via Chiaia ends between piazza Trieste e Trento and piazza Plebiscito (see the map below).
Alternatively, there is an ANM bus (number C25) which leaves from piazza Amedeo: one of its stops is near piazza Plebiscito.

If you are at 'pensione Margherita' it is very convenient to catch the 'funicolare centrale': its terminal is in the same building as your hotel. Get off at the last stop (there are only four stops along this funicolar railway). Then you are in via Toledo (this street is very often called 'via Roma' by Neapolitan people): on the map there are brown disks with an 'F' which indicate the terminals of the funicolar railways (this one is near the blue disk number 33). Turn right, and after walking less than 100 meters you are in piazza Plebiscito.
